N -Z of me, stuff I like and more
had to actually get this finished, so here goes.
N - N is for Newcastle, city of my Birth and the place I look upon as home. N is also for Newcastle United, the football club I support. N is also for NCI - My current cricket club. I am third team skipper next season and am looking forward to scoring more runs than last season.
O is for nothing in particular - O is also for Owen, my godson. Top Lad, although I am not happy about living with the who he is staying with and the smoking. At this point I brush off my smoking jacket, handlebar moustache and act like a 19th centruy disapproving uncle. heh.
P is for Peter Jackson. Current favourite film director, although I am still a bit pissed about the ending of the third LOTR film.
Q is for nothing, mostly cos I can't think of anything.
R is for relationships, or my current lack of one. enough said really. R is also for my work, research admin is not the most fun, but it's a good job. beat the hell out of my last job, shite job for a shite company.
S is for sports. My life seems to revolve around a lot of sports. indeed if it wasn't for my busted knee I would be typing this after playing rugby today. hey ho. knee op soon though.
T is for Tony, my step-father . An all-around decent human being who makes my mum happy. top guy. T is also for telescopes. I love looking at the stars. I had a small telescope which got buggered; in my plans for the new place a big telescope is already included. T is also for travel. My favourite thing in the world. Next years travel plans now include:-
Foo fighters concert somewhere in the USofC
trip to Noo Yoik
hopefully a trip to thailand later in the year.
U is for Unhappy. I am hugely unhappy at the minute. Lonely, depressed, massively overweight. The list is endless. this is a cheery post isn't it?
however, I can't think of much else at the minute, and I am a bit iffy. talk later.
