Trubble!

Knee-status - Knackered - currently zooming around on crutches - should be back to work tomorrow hopefully.

life status - annoying *****mate and ***** are leaving locale soon. - hooray

thought for the day.
If the Animal Liberation Front are so hissy about animal testing, and human trials go wrong - wouldn't it just be easier for the drug companies to test their products on the lazy-good-for-nothings who are in the ALF (they don't seem to have jobs, and have permanent dreadlocks - therefore they don't wash) problem solved.

and just for fun...........................
WHo would win in an intellectual battle between George W Bush and a radish?

Knee sickness part two

Ok.
Was looking at some costs for knee surgery last night and today.
it's........................between £1,500 and £2,850 - but that's full cost. I could take the work option (work will get me over 50% off the cost of private healthcare). hmm, options?

Sickness!!!!!!!!!!

Been signed off from work for two weeks due to work related injury. My knee is royally fucked.
Here is the choice -
Do I:-

1 - Wait for my NHS appointment and live through the pain and odd-feeling knee joint until it gets fixed?
2 - Go private (work has a deal with BUPA which gives me 50% off), pay around £2000 for an op. and get on with my life?

hmm

Psycho Killer

Been signed off from work for a week due to my rather screwed-up knee. As a consequemce I have been sat at home playing a computer game which teaches you how to become a serial killer - Manhunt on the XBOX. I really don't see what all the fuss is about, but that could be the reaction of somebody who has been polaying videogames for a large portion of his life realising that the game just isn't that good.
